DEBATE CLUB

 DURATION - 2 HRS/ WEEK | STUDENT: TEACHER - 15:1 | GRADE LEVEL - 6-10 

  • The Debate Club was formed to train students to think and analyze critically.

  • Students are taught to evaluate and express arguments in a smart and logical manner.

  • We discuss an array of current issues. We train them to put these discussions on paper in the form of argumentative essays, which are also part of the school curriculum.

  • Debates help students overcome their fear of public speaking.

  • This course is a break from the high pressure school environment because it is a NO HOMEWORK PROGRAM that encourages enthusiastic participation and interaction.

MODEL UNITED NATIONS

 DURATION - 1.5 HRS/ WEEK | STUDENT: TEACHER - 15:1 | GRADE LEVEL - 6-10 

  • United Nations formed a debating platform called MUN (Model United Nations) so that students could learn negotiation and public speaking on an international level. Children represent countries and the a panel representing UN authority/ a committee discuss an issue faced by the world or a particular country. This makes the child more aware of countries and their policies. It also teaches them the art of negotiation and persuasion.

  • Debates help students overcome their fear of public speaking.

  • This course is a break from the high pressure school environment because it is a NO HOMEWORK PROGRAM that encourages enthusiastic participation and interaction.

GLOBAL JIGYASA

 DURATION - 1.5 - 2 HRS/ WEEK | STUDENT: TEACHER - 12:2 | GRADE LEVEL - 3 - 5 

  • Global Jigyasa uses a mixture of general knowledge and public speaking to educate children about the world.

  • We use application based questions and games to inculcate an awareness and thirst to learn in our students.

  • To be a successful person, one must be well informed. To be ‘well-informed’, one must develop educated opinions. And to develop educated opinions, one must continuously enhance his/ her general and global awareness.

  • NO HOMEWORK PROGRAM
